Admissions

Our Family

Our children come from every province in Pakistan, and so do the people who look after them. They arrive as strangers and grow up as brothers.

We have never called this an orphanage. It was built to be a home, and that is what the children call it.

Who We Accept

We accept orphaned children who have lost their father, or both parents. A child whose mother is still living is welcome, as long as the father has passed away. We require death certificates from NADRA as part of our admissions process.

Criteria

Financial need: The family must be unable to afford a good education for the child without our support.

Age: We give priority to children under 10. Younger children settle in more quickly and catch up with their classmates faster.

Schooling: There is no academic requirement for children under 10. Children over 10 need to speak Urdu and to have had enough schooling to join their year group without falling behind.

Location: We accept children from anywhere in Pakistan.

Fees: We are a not-for-profit home for orphans. We do not and never have charged orphan students.
