Our Story Began With Tragedy.
500+ Children Supported Since 2005
Founded in 2005 after the Kashmir earthquake, Safina was created to give orphaned and vulnerable children access to education, healthcare, and a safe, loving home where they can thrive.
It all began in a small rented home in Islamabad, where our founders borrowed cutlery and mattresses to care for the first group of children. From those humble beginnings, Safina has grown through years of dedication and the unwavering support of donors and volunteers. Today, we have supported hundreds of orphaned children from across Pakistan and built a purpose-designed campus to provide them with safety, education, and a true sense of home.
Our work doesn’t stop at our campus — we also run relief initiatives during Ramadan and provide emergency support for flood victims, ensuring that help reaches children and families when they need it most. Through the dedication of our team, the generosity of our donors, and the support of our local partners, Safina has become a place of hope and opportunity for children across Pakistan.
Together, we’ve supported over 500 children with quality education and housing — and this is only the beginning.
